Pudgy Party was a free-to-play mobile party game from the Pudgy Penguins universe, co-developed by Igloo Inc and Mythical Games. It launched globally on iOS and Android on August 29, 2025, and was shut down on June 12, 2026, when its makers consolidated development onto the browser game Pudgy World.

A short-session multiplayer party game built around Pudgy Penguins' squishy 3D penguin characters, frequently compared to Fall Guys and Stumble Guys. It debuted at No. 1 on the App Store and surpassed one million downloads before closing.

Gameplay

Players raced through obstacle courses and survival challenges across six game modes and 35 maps, playable solo or with friends, using simple sprint, shove, and emote controls.

The game layered optional blockchain-backed ownership onto casual play: cosmetic outfits, emotes, and costumes could be minted as NFTs and traded. It sat within the broader Pudgy Penguins economy connected to the PENGU token, though the studio did not publish a detailed timeline for winding down in-app NFT systems at closure.

Team & Backing

Pudgy Party was a co-development between Igloo Inc — the company behind Pudgy Penguins and the Abstract chain — and Mythical Games, maker of NFL Rivals and FIFA Rivals. Igloo cited the cost and split focus of running two gaming products as its reason for retiring Pudgy Party in favor of the wholly-owned Pudgy World.
