What BIGSTR is
BIGSTR — short for "Big Strategy" — was a dividend-based strategy token on the Abstract chain, created and operated by the @Genie_abs team. It channeled protocol activity into the Bigcoin (BIG) economy and returned the proceeds to holders as recurring on-chain dividends. The project has since wound down and is no longer active; this page is kept as a reference.
What BIGSTR Was
BIGSTR launched in late 2025 as part of Genie's "strategy token" lineup on Abstract — a sibling to its later releases like Aborean Strategy (ABXSTR), and distinct from the Bigcoin game itself even though it earned in BIG. A swap fee on the token funded a continuous accumulation loop: the treasury made strategic buys and merge-mined BIG, then distributed the proceeds to holders weekly with no manual claiming required. Status
BIGSTR is effectively defunct. Genie, its developer, stepped away from the project, and activity ceased around late 2025 / early 2026 — Genie's focus shifted off Abstract strategy tokens (including an expansion to Monad under the "MENIE" brand). The token and its companion genie-abs NFT collection are no longer actively maintained.
