About
Blupets are onchain pixel pets from the Blupix universe, an Ethereum-mainnet NFT collection created by the artist Bunya (bunya_eth). The collection pairs a random-trait reveal with a Merge-and-evolve mechanic, all settled onchain.
What is Blupets
Blupets is the flagship collection of Blupix (blupixapp), a fully onchain platform. Each Blupet is a pixel pet; on reveal, traits roll randomly with no predetermined rarity, so all blocks are equal prior to reveal.
Key Features
- Random-trait reveal — no rarity tiers and no traits tied to specific IDs; traits are assigned randomly at reveal.
- Merge mechanic — holders can plan evolution paths with the Bluprint preview tool, collecting NFTs of the same color and burning to reach a final form.
- Fully onchain — Blupix exposes builder APIs so others can build tools on top.
How It Works
The reveal and lore are narrated by the blupixapp account in a storytelling style rather than as a standard PFP drop. Holders use the Bluprint tool to preview Merge outcomes before committing.
Ecosystem & Backing
Blupets is created by Bunya, the artist who also made the Abstractio collection on Abstract. Blupix launched alongside the @PudgyUkraine community event in June 2026.
