Pudgy Penguins Opens Beijing Courtyard Huddle Oct. 23, Holders Oct. 24

Pudgy Penguins will host "Pengu Autumn Courtyard" in Beijing on Oct. 23, running 14:00 to 19:00 Beijing time, and a separate holders-only event on Oct. 24, according to posts from the brand's pudgypenguins account.

Beijing, Oct. 23: how to register

Pudgy said the courtyard Huddle will take place in a historic siheyuan, the traditional Beijing courtyard house, with DeepCoin, CBID, Proxima, Tangem and Figurobot. A follow-up post describes "an afternoon leading into the golden hour with exclusive giveaways, good vibes and more" and links an RSVP page.

That Luma page lists the event as "Pengu Beijing Autumn Courtyard 秋日杏笺," hosted by Pudgy Penguins, Symphony Young and JY. Registration requires host approval, and the address is revealed only after registering. The page lists live guzheng, sugar painting, mascot photo opportunities, product displays, a Beijing city passport stamp activity, and tea, light bites and cocktails. At the time of writing it showed no cancellation or change notice.

Oct. 24: holders only

A separate post says that on Oct. 24 Pudgy is "hosting an event exclusively for our holders." Holders of a Pudgy Penguin or Lil Pudgy NFT are asked to contact community lead Symphony Young to RSVP. The post does not name a city, venue or time.

Pudgy's Luma calendar also lists a registration-required Beijing event Pudgy Penguins at Beijing on Oct. 24, with Pudgy Penguins and Symphony Young as hosts. Its page does not mention holders, and Pudgy has not said whether it is the holders event.

Shanghai and context

The China tour was scheduled to open in Shanghai on Oct. 17. "Pengu Blooming Shanghai," a Huddle at a historic 1990s salon, was announced on Oct. 9 and was scheduled for Oct. 17 at 14:00 China time, per its Luma page. A Meet Pudgy at Igloo Gelato 上海 event was scheduled for Oct. 18 and requires host approval.
