What is GUNZ

GUNZ is a gaming-focused Avalanche L1, developed by @GunzillaGames on Avalanche subnet technology and first integrated into @PlayOffTheGrid, Gunzilla's cyberpunk extraction shooter. Its mainnet and native GUN token launched March 31, 2025.

How It Works

GUNZ is customized so games can use in-game tokens for gas rather than exposing players to a separate crypto-native token for transaction fees, aiming to make on-chain ownership feel invisible to traditional console and PC players.

Token & Incentives

GUN launched with a 10 billion total supply, including a Binance Launchpool staking allocation in its initial distribution. It powers gameplay rewards, in-game item trading, gear upgrades, and minting assets extracted from Off The Grid's HEX loot boxes; its utility later expanded from Avalanche to Solana.

Ecosystem

Gunzilla Games launched the GUNZ Foundation in partnership with Delphi Ventures, which also became the network's largest validator, and OpenSea added marketplace support for GUNZ-chain assets.
