Gunzilla Games Launches Kestrel ML Anti-Cheat in Off The Grid Beta

@GunzillaGames has introduced Kestrel, a machine-learning anti-cheat system that identifies cheat-generated input by profiling each player's individual motor signature.
The system is now in beta inside @playoffthegrid, the studio's cyberpunk extraction shooter, and is being opened to third-party integrations, so other studios can integrate it into their own games.
How it works
Gunzilla says Kestrel uses machine learning to recognize each player's "motor signature" and detect cheat-generated input. The announcement does not describe the model or the input signals it relies on.
Gunzilla billed it as "a new approach to cheat detection."
About the studio
Gunzilla Games is the independent AAA studio behind playoffthegrid and its own Avalanche Layer-1 chain, built to power the game's player-owned economy. The studio is co-founded by director Neill Blomkamp, who serves as chief creative officer, alongside CEO Vlad Korolev.
What to watch
Gunzilla has not disclosed which third-party studios or platforms it is in discussions with, or whether Kestrel will eventually ship as a standalone product with its own commercial terms. Adoption outside Off The Grid would mark a shift from the tool being an internal game-integrity measure to a broader anti-cheat offering.
