Ragnarok Breaker is a web-based, wave-survival roguelike auto-shooter set in Planetarium Labs' Nine Chronicles universe. Originally published through @YieldGuild' YGG Play, it continues under its developer Planetarium Labs following YGG Play's July 2026 sunset, with live services fully maintained by the studio.
Launched 2026-06-11, it is the second official IP expansion of the Nine Chronicles universe and the first game built entirely on Verse8, Planetarium Labs' AI-native game-creation platform. It was published through @YieldGuild' YGG Play.
A build-driven roguelike: rather than fixed character classes, players shape each run through Wave Shop purchases organized around five "Meta Tags" — Shot, Zone, Life, Bomb, and Flow — that define combat styles such as projectile damage, area control, and explosive criticals. Endgame modes include Valhalla Trials (endless PvE) and League (score-based PvP).
The game ties into the Nine Chronicles onchain economy and its NCG token; competitive League play awards Ruby Coin prizes.
