Gabby Dizon

Gabby Dizon is a Filipino gaming entrepreneur and the co-founder of yield-guild-games (YGG), the web3 gaming DAO that pioneered the play-to-earn guild model.

Who is Gabby Dizon

Dizon has spent roughly two decades in the games industry. During the early rise of Axie Infinity he began lending his in-game NFTs to players who could not afford the entry cost — the "scholarship" model — and in 2020 co-founded Yield Guild Games with Beryl Li and the pseudonymous Owl of Moistness to scale that model into a global gaming guild and DAO built around the YGG token.

Notable Work

At YGG, Dizon oversaw the guild’s expansion into game publishing through YGG Play, which launched lol-land on Abstract and published titles including waifu-sweeper. In July 2026 he announced the sunsetting of YGG Play — calling it "a market decision, not a product decision" — as YGG redirected its resources toward supplying gaming datasets to AI companies.
