What is Team1 Grants

The programme funds a spread of projects — new and established teams, community organizers, developers, and early-stage concepts — under the framing of funding the next wave of builders rather than only established projects.

Products & Initiatives

Grants are split into two tiers. A smaller, open-application tier is aimed at nascent initiatives and community-driven efforts, with a straightforward submission process. A larger tier is aimed at startups and more mature projects with a track record, and runs through a committee made up of Avalanche team members and community representatives who propose and vote on awards rather than taking open applications; strong projects can be fast-tracked into this tier without going through the smaller one first.

Partnerships

Applicants can get help navigating the process through Team1's community Discord, and the programme notes that a high volume of applications does not guarantee funding — selection is competitive rather than automatic.
