Mateen Mohammed (@MateenMohammed_) is the founder of Hamieverse, a web3 entertainment IP set in a cyberpunk dystopia that spans games, comics, novels, animation and NFTs. His X profile describes his mission as positively impacting a million lives "through founding @Hamieverse and @Hamieimpact."

Role at Hamieverse

Mateen is named as Hamieverse's founder in the project's August 2025 announcement of its debut game on Abstract and in independent coverage of its 2026 move to Ethereum. He is one of the hosts of Break The Wheel Talks, Hamieverse's community panel series.

Vision

In the 2025 announcement he framed Hamieverse around escaping a life of debt and work without purpose: "Hamie was born to shatter it." The project pairs its story world with gamified self-development and mentorship, and his profile names a second venture, Hamie Impact.

Abstract and Ethereum

He has said Hamieverse chose Abstract because "it aligns perfectly with both our vision and our standards." When Abstract announced its shutdown in October 2026, he posted that "nothing about our plans for Hamieverse changes. Genesis is moving to ETH, exactly as announced," with a holder snapshot set for October 20, 2026.
