ZeroBeta
What ZeroBeta is
ZeroBeta is a capital-markets technology company headquartered in Canada. It builds software for risk, collateral and market-data management, and its core product is the BlueShift platform.
What it is
ZeroBeta sells technology to financial institutions rather than running a blockchain or a token. Its clients include buy-side and sell-side firms and market infrastructure such as clearing houses and depositories. The company describes delivery centers in North America, the U.K. and Sri Lanka.
Products & Initiatives
BlueShift is a cloud-native platform that computes risk, margin and collateral requirements in real time across several asset classes. ZeroBeta says it covers both traditional and digital assets and their derivatives, and that institutions use it to run stress simulations and to manage clearing, risk and settlement workflows. BlueShift is not tied to one chain.
Partnerships
In October 2026 ZeroBeta and Lynq (/tags/lynq-network), the institutional settlement network on its own Avalanche L1, announced that BlueShift had certified connectivity to Lynq. In that setup BlueShift is the risk layer: it sets terms and monitors margin, and instructs Lynq to pledge, top up or release collateral. Lynq holds the collateral, so a tokenized Treasury holding can back a loan or a trading position while it keeps earning interest. The integration covers secured borrowing and lending and margin for digital-asset trading.
Why it matters on Avalanche
ZeroBeta is an example of conventional risk software plugging into an Avalanche L1, so that institutional collateral can stay on one network from pledge to release.
