Pump.fun is a token launchpad and trading app that lets anyone create a token and trade it within minutes. It is best known as the main launchpad for Solana memecoins, and its home chain is Solana.

What is Pump.fun

Pump.fun launched in January 2024. A user can create a new token for a small fee, and trading opens straight away. Research and guides from DWF Labs and DappRadar describe it as the leading Solana memecoin launchpad by tokens deployed. Over time it has added its own exchange, an API and a livestreaming feature to the launchpad.

On Avalanche

On November 4, 2026, Pump.fun announced: "Avalanche tokens are now live on the Pumpfun app!" Users can find and trade new and existing Avalanche-ecosystem tokens in the app without bridging, and the post welcomed the Avalanche account. The announcement is about trading Avalanche tokens inside the Pumpfun app. It does not say that tokens can be launched on Avalanche through Pump.fun.

Describe Pump.fun as a Solana launchpad whose trading app now also lists Avalanche tokens. Avalanche is on this page for that listing, not because Pump.fun moved to Avalanche or launched a separate Avalanche product. Pump.fun's own token is not tracked on this page.
