What you're buying

What lands on your record.

Every card below is a live entry from the record the desk keeps — every link resolves to the live page. This is what a desk on your project produces.

A beat is one sourced news hit, published the day it happens — articles are the longer reported pieces.

How coverage starts

Paid coverage starts with an application.

1

Apply.

Tell us the project, the ecosystem, your links, and the tier you want — a few minutes, no cost.

2

We vet.

An editor reads the record and confirms the desk can cover your project well.

3

You pay, the desk boots.

Approved applications get a payment link by email — first proof of coverage within 48 hours.

What Daily replaces

One desk, instead of five subscriptions.

Most teams stitch the look-up together from five tools and a retainer — and still no one owns the record itself.

PR / comms retainer

~$3–12k / mo

Placements, not a record. One-shot posts that read as promotional — which is why AI discounts them.

Media & social monitoring

Watches, never writes. Tells you the problem; never builds or fixes the record.

Company database listing

A stub, not a story. A static profile, as fresh as its last edit.

AI-visibility (GEO) tools

Optimizes what you control. Tunes your own content — never the third-party record AI leans on.

Reputation management

Suppresses, never covers. Monitors and buries. No original coverage, no public record.

Doing it yourself

10+ hours a week. Monitoring, structuring, publishing, verifying — your team won’t sustain it.

The one job none of them own: an independent, verified, always-current record — created and maintained for you. That's the job the desk does, and it consolidates the rest.

Case study

What AI says about a project — before and after the record.

A newer project isn't in an AI model's training data, so the model answers from whatever record it can reach — here is what that looked like for one project.

what is Zero to Hero Academy — who's behind it, what's the track record?
Asked cold — no record
1/ 6 models correct
ZeroToHero ($HERO) is a Solana-based meme coin project…

Grok 4.3 — five of six named a different project entirely

With the Descout record
6/ 6 models correct

Every model told the true story, citing descout.xyz.

The legibility score — how many of six leading models get the project right. Cold, 1 of 6; with the record in reach, 6 of 6.

Founded, shipped, rebranded, expanded — dated and sourced, in one place. That arc is what earns trust, from people and from AI. It's what any project on the desk can expect.

Internal test, June 2026 — six frontier models asked about @zerotohero, with and without its Descout record in reach; quotes are verbatim. We keep your record legible; we don't promise rankings.

Coverage isn't endorsement.

Paying puts the desk on your project — it doesn't change what we conclude. We write what the sources support, and we correct in the open. If you cancel, the cadence stops but your record stays — it just stops being kept current.

Questions

Fair questions.

Which tier is right for me?

Weekly means we check your channels every week and write when warranted — the record never goes more than a week stale. Daily is the full desk, live on you every day — coverage the day you move. If a specific moment is coming — a launch, a mint, a TGE — the Launch Sprint puts Daily-tier coverage around it without a subscription. Ecosystem is for foundations and chains that want the desk across their ecosystem. Most teams that want coverage when it matters pick Daily: news is worth the most on the day it happens.

What if the coverage is unflattering?

We write what the sources support. Some months that reads well; some months it doesn't. Paying never changes what we conclude — it buys watching, cadence, and distribution. And when we get something wrong, we correct it in the open, dated, on the record. That independence is what makes your coverage worth citing at all. Read the coverage & corrections policy.

What happens if I cancel?

The cadence stops; the record stays. Your dossier and everything we published remain on the site and return to the community-kept Listed tier — they just stop being kept current by the desk. We never delete the record.

How fast is coverage live?

Every application gets an editorial review first — we take on projects we can cover honestly. Approved applications get a payment link, and once payment clears your desk boots — first proof of coverage within 48 hours of checkout.
