How to claim your Ruyui on Ethereum now that claims are open
Ruyui claims opened on Ethereum Mainnet Nov. 4; only holders registered before claims began can claim now, and later registrants wait for a weekly update.

Claims for Ruyui on Ethereum Mainnet opened on Nov. 4. At 15:12 UTC, @RuyuiStudios posted "Claim is live!" with a link to hub.ruyui.com/claim. This guide covers who can claim right away, who has to wait, the steps, the wallet rules and the Dec. 15 deadline. It follows up Descout's registration-era Ruyui migration guide, and the collection's profile is on its entity page.
The studio said on Nov. 1 that the OG Abstract Ruyui collection is frozen, and the collection is moving to Ethereum Mainnet.
Who can claim now and who waits
Ruyui co-founder @voxelqueen explained the split on Nov. 3. Holders who registered before claims started can claim directly. After claims start, the team updates the contract with new submissions weekly, so a holder who registers late "will need to wait for the new merkle root update." In practice, a registration made after claims opened does not unlock a claim immediately. The post does not name the day of the week or a date for the updates.
The studio said at 14:15 UTC on Nov. 4 that the first migration snapshot would be taken in 30 minutes and that 3260 Ruyuis were ready for migration. It thanked balon_art and the OpenSea team and linked the Ethereum collection on OpenSea.
The start date moved by a day. Voxelqueen wrote on Nov. 3 that claims would start the next day "while we figure out the verification and the volume transfer with the OpenSea team." The Oct. 15 announcement had set Nov. 3.
The steps
The project's Oct. 15 announcement lays out the claim sequence:
- Return to the migration page (the announcement names hub.ruyui.com/migration; the Nov. 4 post links hub.ruyui.com/claim).
- Connect the Ethereum wallet you registered.
- Review your allocation.
- Complete the Ethereum claim.
- Confirm that your Ruyuis arrived.
Descout could not read the Hub migration page, which renders in the browser and returned only a loading screen. The steps above come from the announcement, so start from the link in the project's own post and check what the page shows.
Wallet rules
Per the Oct. 15 announcement, the claim wallet is the Ethereum wallet you registered. It "cannot be an AGW": the announcement says it must be a standard EVM-compatible wallet that supports Ethereum Mainnet and names MetaMask and Rabby as examples. It also says "Abstract Global Wallet CANNOT be used as the claim wallet." The announcement says the complete allocation goes to the registered wallet, so check the address before registering.
Several wallets can share one Hub profile. The announcement says one profile means one registration and one claim wallet, and that the page should show your combined allocation.
Fees and timing
The project has urged holders to take their time. The Nov. 4 claim post says "There is absolutely no reason to rush; take your time, wait for the gas to chill." Voxelqueen added: "I paid 1 USD to claim 70 NFTs. No reason to claim during high gas times." That is one account's experience at one moment; the project has published no fee schedule, and the cost of your own claim depends on network gas when you submit it.
The deadline
The Oct. 15 announcement says registration and claims close on Dec. 15 at 3:00 PM UTC, with no extensions or late claims. The Nov. 1 post says registration and claims remain open through Dec. 15 and that unclaimed supply goes to the Ruyui treasury. The announcement says a Ruyui left unclaimed after the deadline is "permanently allocated to the Ruyui treasury" and its previous holder cannot claim it.
Dec. 15 is also the date Abstract shuts down: its migration page says "On December 15, Abstract will be shutting down." Descout's guides on moving assets off Abstract and on the project deadlines holders face cover the wider picture. Because late registrants wait for a weekly contract update, registering well before Dec. 15 leaves room for at least one update before the deadline.
Scam caution
Use only the link the project posts from its own account. The Oct. 15 announcement says to "only use the official Ruyui migration page and carefully review every signature request." It also says the registration signature does not transfer NFTs or grant approval to move them, so a prompt that asks for token approval at registration does not match the process it describes. On Sept. 1, voxelqueen wrote that "No surprise mints or launches will ever happen from my or @RuyuiStudios account." Voxelqueen said on Nov. 4 that the team is on Discord for questions.
