Abstract shutdown: the project deadlines holders face before December 15
Hamieverse snapshots Genesis on Oct. 20 at 23:59 UTC; Chimpers cards follow on Nov. 30 and the Fugz migration site closes Dec. 14. Abstract's Migration Hub still lists no project instructions.

The first project-level deadline on Abstract falls on Oct. 20 at 23:59 UTC, when Hamieverse takes its Genesis snapshot. The rest of the calendar runs through Nov. 30 (Chimpers cards) and Dec. 14 (the Fugz migration site), ahead of the chain's own Dec. 15 shutdown.
Abstract's Migration Hub tells users they have until Dec. 15, 2026 to move assets off the chain. As of Oct. 13 its "All Project Specific Instructions" section reads "No project instructions have been published yet." Each project below has posted its own instructions on X or on its own site. For the chain-level bridge routes, see our guide to moving assets off Abstract.
The calendar
| Project | Destination | Deadline | What the project asks holders to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hamieverse Genesis | Ethereum mainnet | Snapshot Oct. 20, 23:59 UTC | Move Genesis out of an AGW into an EVM wallet before the snapshot |
| Chimpers Against All Odds cards and packs | ApeChain | Snapshot Nov. 30 | Regular wallet: nothing. AGW: move cards to a regular wallet first |
| Fugz | Ethereum mainnet | Migration site closes Dec. 14 | Connect the AGW holding Fugz at the project's migration site |
| Anichess | Base | None stated beyond Dec. 15 | Migrate staked $CHECK and bridge idle $CHECK to Base |
Hamieverse: Oct. 20 at 23:59 UTC
On Oct. 5 Hamieverse said Genesis is moving to Ethereum mainnet, adding that the move "keeps the door open for future initiatives on Abstract." On Oct. 6 it set the snapshot: "We'll be taking a snapshot on October 20 at 23:59 UTC. Move your Genesis NFT to an EVM wallet before the snapshot to receive your NFT airdrop on Ethereum Mainnet."
Holders who miss the cutoff are not locked out. Hamieverse wrote that if Genesis isn't in an EVM wallet by the snapshot, holders can still claim afterwards: one week after the snapshot it will "open the official claim site for eligible holders to claim their Genesis on Ethereum Mainnet." On Oct. 12 the project reminded AGW holders to move Genesis to another EVM wallet and not "wait until October 20 at 23:59 UTC." Our breaking-news report tracks the announcement.
Chimpers: Nov. 30 snapshot
Chimpers posted on Oct. 7 that Against All Odds cards and packs "will be moving to ApeChain," with a Nov. 30 snapshot. Its instructions: a regular wallet needs no action; an AGW holder should move cards to a regular wallet before the snapshot; trades after Nov. 30 "won't carry over." Full details, it said, are in the project's Discord. See also our report on the announcement.
Fugz: migration site closes Dec. 14
Fugz's Oct. 8 migration update is addressed to holders who "still have Fugz in an AGW" and carries a graphic stating the migration website "now closes 14th Dec. 2026." The migration site says: "Connect your AGW to migrate your Fugz from Abstract, to our new contract on ETH mainnet." The deadline sits one day before the chain's own cutoff, so a Fugz holder who waits for Dec. 15 has already missed the project's window.
Anichess: stake and token moves to Base
Anichess has no snapshot date. Its Oct. 8 post says the game "already lives on Base," that the Public Staking Pool is on Base with a migration link for stakers, and that holders with $CHECK still on Abstract should bridge it to Base using the link in the post. It adds that migration of the OG pool and Checkpoints "is next, and it's our top priority," and points questions to its Discord. The Anichess entity page has the project's background.
Projects that have said details are coming
Onchain Heroes told players in its Oct. 8 patch notes that "Abstract is winding down, but your Ringbearers, heroes, and MoG keys are safe." No destination or date was given; the studio said next steps are coming "soon," and holders have nothing to do for now. Hamieverse also says it will publish further "migration details and next steps for holders."
Staying safe
Chimpers' own warning is short: "There is no claim or migration site. Stay safe." Hamieverse says its official claim site opens one week after the snapshot, and Fugz names migrate.fugzofficial.com as its migration site. Our advice: act only from the project's verified X account or the sites it names, and never sign a transaction from a link in a reply, a direct message or a search ad. Connecting a wallet is not a transfer, but a signature can be, so read what each prompt asks you to approve.
