How to bridge Tollan NFTs to Ethereum before the Dec. 14 cutoff
Tollan says Avatars and Items not bridged to Ethereum Mainnet by Dec. 14, 00:00 UTC are unrecoverable; signing is free on Abstract; gas is paid per batch.

Tollan says Genesis Avatars and Items must be bridged from Abstract to Ethereum Mainnet before December 14, 00:00 UTC, and that NFTs not migrated by the deadline "will be permanently unrecoverable" (@TollanUniverse, Oct. 28). That is 7 p.m. EST on Dec. 13. This guide follows the steps on the official bridge FAQ for Tollan Universe holders, then covers costs, what happens after the deadline and what the team has not yet published.
What changed on Oct. 28
In a three-post thread on Oct. 28, Tollan announced that the Genesis Avatars and Items migration to Ethereum Mainnet was live. A second post said trading and transfers of Tollan NFTs on Abstract are disabled (post). The first post carries a screenshot of the bridge page, which shows a "Migrate by December 14, 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC" countdown, a source wallet panel, and tabs for Genesis Avatars and Items with a per-batch selection counter ("0/100 per batch"). The third post is a graphic reading "This is the final tweet in this thread" (post). The screenshot also reads "You can only bridge 1 collection at a time"; the third post's graphic carries no other release text.
Holders with other assets on Abstract can read our guide to moving assets off Abstract for the chain-level picture.
Steps to bridge
The bridge FAQ lists three steps. We moved its ETH reminder up so the wallet is funded before you claim:
- Connect the Abstract wallet holding your NFTs. The FAQ says this can be an AGW or an EVM wallet (bridge.tollan.io).
- Select the NFTs you want to migrate. The FAQ says you can migrate only one collection at a time, up to 100 NFTs per batch.
- Keep a small amount of ETH on Ethereum Mainnet in the destination wallet to cover the network fee.
- Connect any Ethereum wallet and claim your NFTs. The destination wallet can differ between batches, according to the FAQ.
If you close the page before sending, the FAQ says a signed batch stays reserved for your wallet for 30 minutes. You can return and send it from the same page; if it is not sent, it is released and you can bridge those NFTs again (bridge.tollan.io).
What you receive
According to the FAQ, you get the same NFTs on the new chain: the same token IDs, names, images and traits, and Items keep their amounts (bridge.tollan.io).
Which NFTs count
The FAQ says you can migrate everything the wallet held at the snapshot. You sign in with the Abstract wallet that held the NFTs then; NFTs bought, sold or moved after the snapshot do not change what that wallet can migrate (bridge.tollan.io). The FAQ does not give the snapshot date.
Gas
Tollan's thread says: "You don't pay gas fees on Abstract to migrate. You only pay Ethereum Mainnet gas fees for each batch" (post). The FAQ adds that signing in is a free signature, not a transaction, and that each batch is one Ethereum Mainnet transaction paid from the destination wallet (bridge.tollan.io). Because only one collection can be bridged at a time, a holder with both Avatars and Items runs the process once per collection, and a holder with more than 100 NFTs in a collection sends more than one batch.
After the deadline
The FAQ states the migration deadline as December 14, 2026, and treats the two collections differently (bridge.tollan.io). That is a day earlier than Tollan's Oct. 9 article, which said both bridges would be live until Dec 15, 2026, 00:00 UTC (Our Next Chapter). The Oct. 28 thread and the bridge page both use Dec. 14, so treat that as the deadline:
- Genesis Avatars: all unbridged Avatars will be transferred to the Tollan Treasury and cannot be recovered.
- Items: unbridged Items can no longer be claimed after the deadline.
Safety
Tollan's thread says "Only use the official bridge" and links https://bridge.tollan.io (post). The FAQ adds: "We will never DM you first or ask for token approvals or your seed phrase" (bridge.tollan.io). The team posted these OpenSea collection pages for reference: Genesis Avatars and Items (post).
How this relates to the game
On Oct. 16, Tollan posted that "Tollan Universe is now on Robinhood Chain!", that account migration was live, and that the deadline is December 15, 2026 (post). That post is about game accounts: it says migrating keeps Crowns, Passes, gameplay history and unclaimed prizes, and that store purchases, Prize Pool payouts and Jackpot withdrawals are in ETH on Robinhood Chain. It is a single post with no replies from the team in the thread we reviewed. Our earlier analysis of the Robinhood Chain move covers that announcement.
So the sources describe two separate tracks: the game on Robinhood Chain with a Dec. 15, 00:00 UTC account deadline, after which Tollan's Oct. 9 article says unmigrated accounts will be lost, and the NFT collections bridging to Ethereum Mainnet with a Dec. 14 deadline (Oct. 16 post, Oct. 28 post). In the posts and pages we reviewed through Nov. 2, Tollan does not explain why the NFTs go to Ethereum Mainnet while the game runs on Robinhood Chain. Its Oct. 9 article says Genesis Avatar holders and players with high Tollan Ranks will be first in line for its new Robinhood Chain game (Our Next Chapter), and founder mkx wrote on Oct. 7 that historical and ongoing avatar ownership will count toward rewards and early opportunities (@im_mkx).
Loot Planets and Avatar holders
Loot Planets posted on Oct. 27, in a reply within its Space Stations thread, that it is reserving 1,000 whitelist spots for Tollan Universe Genesis Avatar holders (@LootPlanetsRH, Oct. 27). The post adds a bonus: locking 3 Genesis Avatars with different "Mark" traits for 6 months earns a free Space Station. It says how to lock the avatars and the snapshot date "will be announced later." Bearish, an NFT project that is not running the offer, restated it on Oct. 30, writing that 1,000 whitelist spots for Loot Planets are reserved for Genesis Avatar holders and that the locking steps and the snapshot date come later (@bearish_af). The bridge FAQ's steps do not include locking, which belongs to the Loot Planets offer. The bridge deadline applies either way. On Oct. 30, Tollan and Loot Planets announced a Space Conquest event with Space Station NFTs and guaranteed whitelist spots as prizes (Tollan, Loot Planets). Bearish's post also notes that Tollan's NFT bridge closes Dec. 14, 00:00 UTC.
