Cambria's Dungeons Hit $80K Daily Risked Volume as Pendant Auction Nears Close - Analysis and insights

Cambria, the risk-to-earn MMO on Abstract, reported dungeon risked volume of $80,000 per day as of June 22, which cyberpunk said generates roughly $2 million in annualized revenue at the game's 5–8% fee — reached without marketing spend or a token. Days later the team opened a live auction for Pendants, tradeable items that persist across dungeon runs, and published the first feature overview for Gold Rush Season 4.

Three Weeks of Patches

The run follows a patch sequence that began June 7. Patch v0.1.3 shipped a dungeons gameplay rework, islands leaderboards, and an energy collector. playcambria said Part 2 — regional servers and a rewards overhaul — would follow on Wednesday.

It did. Patch v0.2.0, deployed June 13, added regional servers in Poland, India, and Central US to cut latency, plus a core gameplay rework, Strongboxes, new map layouts, and the Demonic Power system. Per egamers' patch coverage, Demonic Power accumulates through monster encounters and resets at each dungeon descent.

On June 18, playcambria introduced Uncut Gems and Sacks of Treasure as loot from final boss chests in Dungeons, paired with a $50 keys giveaway.

Pendants and the Economy Buildout

The biggest structural announcement came June 24, when playcambria unveiled Pendants as a "major update" to the Dungeons economy — rare items that persist across runs and can be traded. The team framed them as chase items meant to give Dungeons a persistent-value layer beyond the per-run deposit-and-extract loop.

The same day, cyberpunk announced waifu card trading is coming to the game, without a release date or further detail on the mechanic.

The auction followed on June 26, when cyberpunk said the Pendant Auction was live — a seven-day sale running to a reveal around July 3, after which any unminted supply is burned — selling equippable curios for use in both Dungeons and Gold Rush, with genesis pendants carrying extra perks. The sale listed Pendant Cruxes at 350 KEYS each, with 3,500 of 5,000 minted at the time of the post.

Season 4 Preview

cyberpunk published a Gold Rush Season 4 feature reveal on June 24 covering new cities, dynamic farming spots, transport mechanics, and crafting and enchantment systems. Cambria's April dev update described the evolution of Gold Rush as a shift toward "macro-PvP extraction gameplay," with raids generating rare materials that feed high-RNG crafting. A Season 4 release date has not been announced.

Context

Cambria has recorded over $130 million in total transaction volume since inception and more than 100,000 lifetime players, according to third-party reporting on the v0.2.0 patch. The game's homepage lists 360,000 registered players. cyberpunk put the fee behind the $2 million ARR read at a 5–8% variable fee on dungeons volume.

Our read tracks Cambria as Building, on the evidence of six shipped events in the prior month and a roughly fourfold rise in post volume month over month.

What We Can't Confirm

playcambria has not described the announced waifu card mechanic or attached a release date, and cyberpunk's Season 4 feature reveal did not set a release window.
