Cambria says historical users of its risk-to-earn MMO have until Sept. 29, 2026, at 11PM ET to opt into the ecosystem around its incoming $RSGP token — or lose the chance to. Cambria's own account posted the deadline on Sept. 15, quoting its announcement from a newly created steward, the Cambria Foundation. Cambria's own wording on what happens after that date is blunt and short: "Eligibility closes."

The Genesis Event Opt-In Agreement, explained

The Cambria Foundation says it exists "to steward and grow the Cambria protocol, community, and ecosystem," per its announcement, which playcambria's own account quoted in full. It is the body now governing $RSGP — Real Stakes Game Play — the token the Foundation says "will form the core of ecosystem consensus mechanisms" underpinning Genesis, Cambria's coming permanent game world.

The opt-in is not the $RSGP token launch itself; it is a prerequisite step ahead of it. In the Foundation's own words: "To get involved in the RSGP token ecosystem ahead of public release, eligible historical users of Cambria can choose to accept the terms of the Genesis Event Opt-In Agreement" at lobby.cambria.gg/token.

Do this before Sept. 29, 2026, 11PM ET. The Sept. 15 announcement's own language — "Eligibility closes... on September 29th, 2026 at 11PM ET" — does not spell out what happens to a historical user who opts in late or not at all; the quoted line states only that the window shuts on that date.

Who counts as an eligible historical user

The Cambria Foundation's Sept. 15 announcement does not define "eligible historical users" beyond that phrase: it names no activity threshold, no account-age cutoff and no snapshot date. Cambria's blog post at blog.cambria.gg/rsgp-is-coming/ separately describes a Loot Chest airdrop whose "Care Package size scales based on your degen score" across "Solana trading activity," "Polymarket trading activity," "Multi-chain risk-taking," "Time-weighted holdings" and "Notable community participation," and a Genesis Airdrop it says "will be awarded based solely on Points." Neither that post nor the Sept. 15 announcement says whether the Sept. 29 opt-in is tied to either.

What $RSGP is for

Cambria's blog describes $RSGP as "the ownership layer of Cambria's economy and ecosystem," used for treasury governance, rewards, and vote-escrowed ("ve-style") staking that can lower fees, add guild advantages, and grant in-game voting rights and cosmetics. The Sept. 15 announcement adds that Genesis — the permanent game world $RSGP is built to run — will carry "persistent assets, guild treasuries, resource competition, and high stakes war games, with incentives and key levers directed by the protocol and holders of RSGP."

What Cambria's own pages say about timing and supply

Cambria's blog post at blog.cambria.gg/rsgp-is-coming/ points to $RSGP's token launch landing in September: "Ahead of our upcoming token launch in September, we're airdropping Loot Chests containing $RSGP." The same post ties Gold Rush Season 4 to the token generation event — "Gold Rush Season 4 launches around TGE - and it's our most ambitious yet" — and separately describes the season as "launching this fall." That page still carries a "22 Jul 2026 — 3 min read" timestamp: the September wording sits on a page dated in July.

Cambria's own account said on July 22 that "$RSGP is coming in August," per its own post — a timeline the September wording on blog.cambria.gg/rsgp-is-coming/ no longer matches.

As of the Sept. 15 opt-in announcement, $RSGP had not had its token generation event, and Genesis, the permanent game world $RSGP is built to run, was not live. Neither the Sept. 15 announcement nor Cambria's blog post at blog.cambria.gg/rsgp-is-coming/ states $RSGP's total supply, its allocation split between community, team, investors and treasury, or a vesting schedule.
