Announcing EurekaNews.xyz: Built for Abstract, Built for You
A message to the community: EurekaNews.xyz is a news platform and project directory solving Abstract's discoverability problem—built by the community, for the ecosystem.

A few weeks ago, I teased the community that Puddle and I were building something big—something focused on discoverability and solving real problems in the Abstract ecosystem. Today, I can finally share what we've been working on.
We're launching EurekaNews.xyz early next week.
And you—the Eureka community—are the first to know outside of our immediate team. That's not an accident. It's a deliberate choice.
Why You're Hearing This First
You've been with us through the bear market, through failed experiments, through pivots and uncertainty. You believed that Puddle and I had what it took to lead this community forward, even when the path wasn't clear. That loyalty matters, and we want to make sure it's rewarded.
But there's another reason you're hearing this first: we need your help. We want your feedback on what works, what's broken, and what could be better. This project isn't just ours—it's for everyone building and participating in Abstract's ecosystem.
The Problem We're Solving
Abstract has a silo problem. Right now, all the meaningful conversations—the alpha, the culture, the actual building—happens in fragmented Telegram groups, Discord servers, and scattered Twitter threads. That works for insiders who already know where to look, but it's completely invisible to everyone else.
I've personally spoken with traders and builders actively working on Base, Solana, and other chains, and they all say the same thing: "I don't know much about Abstract." That's not because Abstract lacks substance—it's because the information is opaque. It lives in insider circles, inaccessible to anyone who isn't already embedded in the ecosystem.
People who would greatly benefit from seeing what's happening here simply don't know it exists. We need indexing. We need syndication. But most importantly, we need to build culture for Abstract.
The Power of Shared Stories
There's a concept in sociology called "imagined communities"—the idea that people became citizens of nations because they could read newspapers about other citizens living in distant provinces. They could imagine the collective because there was a shared source of truth connecting them.
I'm not saying Abstract isn't already a community—it absolutely is. We have passionate builders, traders, and believers. But we lack a centralized news hub that doesn't require endlessly scrolling Twitter and dodging shills just to find newsworthy events.
We need this for ourselves, but we also need it for outsiders looking in. When people research Abstract, they should be able to clearly see the culture being built here, the projects launching, the innovation happening. Right now, that visibility doesn't exist in an organized, accessible way.
This Is the Next Evolution
EurekaNews.xyz is our answer to that problem. It's a CMS and directory for Abstract—a single source where people can index, search, and discover Abstract-native projects without needing to be in ten different groups.
This also builds directly on our previous Learn to Earn, "Waddle You Know," game. The biggest reason we didn't invest more time into that product was an awareness problem. Without awareness, we had a utility problem. The website is the awareness tool, which means Learn to Earn can come back onto the table as a legitimate onboarding mechanism. More on that in the future.
What You'll Find on EurekaNews.xyz
We've built this platform with both readers and builders in mind:
- A great reading experience with tag-based exploration to discover projects, protocols, and news across Abstract
- Editorial content written from the perspective of builders who actually understand the space—not hype farmers looking for clicks
I've also written an introductory article about our journey getting here — from rugged token holders to community take over to media builders.
It's honest, unfiltered, and sets the tone for what EurekaNews.xyz will be: a platform built by people who care about Abstract's long-term success.
What Comes Next
This launch is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks and months, we'll be:
- Expanding coverage across the entire Abstract ecosystem
- Building out our directory of projects, tokens, NFT collections, and protocols
- Developing syndication partnerships to bring Abstract news to wider audiences
- Refining our distribution tools to make Abstract content more discoverable
- Bringing back Learn to Earn as an onboarding mechanism once we have the traffic to support it
But for right now, we need your feedback. What can we do better? What's broken? What features would make this more useful for you? Let us know in the community telegram.
A Platform for All of Abstract
EurekaNews.xyz isn't just about Eureka the token—it's about creating infrastructure for the entire Abstract ecosystem. Yes, we're building it under the Eureka brand because that's where we came from and it represents discovery, but our mission is much bigger.
We want to be the reference layer for Abstract. The place people go when they want to know what's happening, what's launching, and what's worth paying attention to. We're not here to shill. We're here to inform, educate, and build lasting culture.
You believed in us when we were just a group of rugged holders deciding whether to give up or fight back. Now, we're asking you to believe in us again as we build something that can genuinely move Abstract forward.
EurekaNews.xyz launches early next week.
Let's show the rest of crypto what a real community can build.
