Onchain Heroes moves to Ethereum: what AGW players do now
Onchain Heroes says Abstract Global Wallet players can link a regular wallet now, free; nothing moves yet and migration details come later.

Onchain Heroes said on Oct. 31 that it is moving to Ethereum Mainnet because Abstract shuts down on Dec. 15. Players who log in with an Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) can link a regular wallet now. The team's own words on timing: "Nothing moves yet, migration details come later." This guide covers the linking steps, what the team has and has not said, and where Onchain Heroes and Maze of Gains stand as they leave Abstract.
Nothing has moved yet
In the first post of its Oct. 31 thread, onchainheroes wrote that "Abstract shuts down on Dec 15, so the OCH ecosystem is heading home to Ethereum." A follow-up post gives the team's reasons for Ethereum Mainnet: security, liquidity and NFT market depth, support across wallets and marketplaces, and durability.
The post that tells players what to do says AGW users should "link a regular wallet you own. That's where your assets go on Mainnet." It lists four points: linking takes about a minute, it is free with no gas required, one link covers both OCH and MoG, and nothing moves yet. Nothing in the thread says a migration, snapshot or transfer has started.
How to link a wallet
The team posted three steps, each with a screenshot.
- Link a wallet. Log in with your AGW and the link screen appears. Choose "Link a wallet" and connect a regular wallet you control. The team names MetaMask and Rabby as examples.
- Check both wallets. Make sure the right wallet is connected, tick the box, then choose "Sign". The team's warning: "Use a wallet you control. NOT an exchange, Safe or smart-contract wallet."
- Sign. Approve the signature in your wallet. The alt text on the team's screenshot of the final screen reads "Your wallet is now your migration wallet."
If you already linked a wallet for the Yield Fields whitelist, the team's separate post asks you to log in, check that the wallet shown is yours and choose "Looks good". To use a different one, it says you can change it "anytime before the cut-off."
To change your wallet later, the last post in the how-to points to Settings, then Migration wallet in-game, and says you can change it "anytime until Dec 15. The latest wallet is the one we'll use." The alt text on that post's screenshot gives the deadline as "15 Dec 2026, 00:00 UTC", which is the start of Dec. 15 in UTC. The same post adds: "Don't leave it to the last minute."
What the team said earlier about assets
On Oct. 8, @onchainheroes wrote: "Abstract is winding down, but your Ringbearers, heroes, and MoG keys are safe. No action needed for now, and we'll share next steps soon." The Oct. 31 thread is the follow-up on migration that we found. For moving other assets off Abstract itself, our earlier guide to the Dec. 15 deadline covers the chain's own routes.
The state of the game as it leaves
Maze of Gains posts weekly stats under the same labels each Thursday. These are the posted figures, as the team wrote them (runs created, keys burnt, "weekly prize pool", Gem payouts to players):
- Oct. 1: 64,633 runs, 5,421,927 keys, $3,795,349 pool, $1,325,318 in Gem payouts.
- Oct. 8: 1,837 runs, 23,601 keys, 16,521 pool, $4,971 in Gem payouts.
- Oct. 15: 693 runs, 8,137 keys, $5,696 pool, $2,039 in Gem payouts.
- Oct. 22: 411 runs, 2,417 keys, $1,692 pool, 243 in Gem payouts.
- Oct. 29: 272 runs, 2,351 keys, $1,646 pool, 462 in Gem payouts.
The Oct. 1 line is not a baseline. It is a weekly figure under the same labels as the others, not a season total: the team's Sept. 28 Deed Season close-out ("10 days. 7.6k farmers. 227k runs.") came with separate event totals of 226,904 runs and 8,456,542 keys burnt. But the Oct. 1 post also told players who were new from Deed Season that, if they played the week before, they "may have a share of the weekly prize pool waiting" in a claim reminder. The posts do not define the weekly period or say how the pool is built, so we do not set the Oct. 1 pool against later weeks or call the difference a decline in the game's ordinary activity. For the earlier Deed Season context, see our Deed Season analysis.
Comparing the post-event weeks with each other, runs went from 1,837 on Oct. 8 to 272 on Oct. 29, about 85% fewer. Keys burnt fell from 23,601 to 2,351 and the posted pool from $16,521 to $1,646, each about 90% lower. Week on week, from Oct. 22 to Oct. 29, runs fell from 411 to 272 while keys (2,417 to 2,351) and the pool ($1,692 to $1,646) each dipped about 3%, and Gem payouts rose from $243 to $462. As of Nov. 1, the Oct. 29 post is the latest weekly stats post we found; the team called it "A quiet week in the Maze" in the thread's opening post.
Yield Fields and Robinhood Chain
Yield Fields (@YieldFields_RH) is the Robinhood Chain project whose whitelist Deed Season fed. Its Oct. 12 mint post told whitelist holders "You'll need ETH on Robinhood Chain", and on Oct. 13 it reported that all 3,333 Deeds had been minted. Its yieldfields_rh reads "Coming soon to Robinhood Chain!" as of Nov. 1. Onchain Heroes' thread only says to confirm a whitelist wallet, and neither account says what the Mainnet migration changes for Yield Fields.
What is not known yet
- Snapshot date. The thread gives a wallet-change cut-off of Dec. 15 and no snapshot date.
- Heroes NFTs and Ringbearers. The Oct. 8 post says they are safe, and the Oct. 31 post says linked wallets are where "your assets go on Mainnet". No post describes how a transfer would work.
- Gems and keys. The Oct. 8 post names MoG keys as safe. Nothing we found covers Gems, or how keys or Gem payouts are handled on Mainnet.
- Pool claims. The Oct. 1 reminder says claims are sent as USDC "to your wallet on Abstract". We found no statement on weekly pool shares left unclaimed at the Dec. 15 shutdown.
- Timing and scope. The thread does not say when migration details will arrive, or whether Maze of Gains and the idle RPG move on the same date.
- Other products. We found no team statement on which chain each of its other pieces will use after Dec. 15.
