Maze of Gains 2.0 Set to Launch This Week With Dragma Final Boss
Onchain Heroes' Maze of Gains (MoG) was set to release its 2.0 update the week of Aug. 4, according to a livestream preview shared by abstractcn_game on Aug 4. The preview, retweeted by @Abstract_Eco, confirms that Dragma will replace the version 1.0 final boss and announces a farewell stream for the original game at 10 PM on Aug 4.
MoG is a fully onchain roguelike dungeon crawler built on abstractchain, where each run feeds a shared weekly ETH prize pool. The 2.0 overhaul, previously teased by onchainheroes, introduces a new battle system, armory items, four named biomes, and a finite nine-floor maze, along with persistent upgrades.
The livestream will mark the end of MoG 1.0 as the new version goes live. With the final boss now confirmed as Dragma, players have a clear signal that the 2.0 launch is imminent.
onchainheroes has been rolling out playtests and content bounties leading up to the release, with the weekly prize cutoff reportedly moving to Thursdays. The official match #17, co-hosted by ACG and Maze of Gains, will give the community a last look at the original before 2.0 takes over.
