Anichess Launches Pre-Season 9 of The Circuit With Free Daily Tournaments

@AnichessGame, the Web3 chess game from Animoca Brands and Chess.com, opened Pre-Season 9 of The Circuit on July 9 with a free-entry tournament. The pre-season runs through Sunday, July 12, featuring two daily time slots and multiple event types.

Free events on Thursday and Sunday offer 300 CHECK prize pools each. Gambit events on Friday and Saturday charge per match (100 and 50 CHECK respectively, winner takes all). Players earn 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw; the top five in each event split the pool. Only the best result per day counts toward standings.

The first event opened at 21:00 HKT on July 9. The regular season begins Monday, July 13, with free days, big events, and the road to playoffs.
