Yield Guild Games Reveals Top 15 VibeBlitz Finalists

Yield Guild Games (yieldguild) and @Vibecode_game have confirmed the 15 finalists advancing to the final round of the VibeBlitz AI game-building competition. Official judging begins Aug. 3 and runs through Aug. 9, with the top five winners set to be announced Aug. 10. The finalists were selected after a week of community play and voting, according to @Vibecode_game.

VibeBlitz is a four-week hackathon launched July 13 by Yield Guild Games in partnership with Animoca Brands' Minds (hellominds_) and AI coding platform @Vibecode_game. The competition carries a $5,000 prize pool and is part of Yield Guild's broader push into AI-assisted game development after the sunset of its YGG Play publishing arm.

The 15 finalists, listed by @Vibecode_game, include games built by Volcanic, Zeke_2007, Shakal, Lamzy, Meedex, Tofu, Sedano, Mistagreat, Coachdee, Mallam, KennyGG, Ytbesope, GaspodeWD, manutegus, and H4rd. Over the next six days, an expert judging panel will evaluate the entries, with daily builder spotlights planned.

The top five winners will be revealed Aug. 10, capping the competition. The outcome will highlight the state of vibe-coded, AI-assisted game development on the Abstract ecosystem, where Yield Guild has been focusing its gaming initiatives.
