@YieldGuild's first VibeBlitz game jam wrapped with 72 playable games, built by more than 250 participants over four weeks on @Vibecode_game, with AI assistance from hellominds_.

The results were shared in a post from animocabrands, which partnered with YGG on the jam. Developers used the Game Designer Mind and its set of skills to take prompts from concept to playable game, according to the post.

VibeBlitz ran from July 13 to August 10 with a $5,000 prize pool. The event was designed to bring together builders of all backgrounds for AI-assisted, community-driven game creation.

The jam is part of YGG's broader pivot toward AI infrastructure. On August 17, the DAO announced YGG 3.0, moving beyond web3 gaming to include AI data training and vibecode gaming coordination. The launch of vibecode.gg in June established a hub for discovering and building AI-powered games.

The 72 games produced during VibeBlitz underscore the growing role of AI tools in game development, a direction YGG is betting on as it transitions from its earlier play-to-earn and publishing efforts.
