Web3 Playboys Marks Six Months on Abstract With Dynamic NFTs, Viral Content, and Games in Development

@WEB3Playboys has published a six-month retrospective marking progress since its August 2025 launch on the Abstract blockchain, citing a range of product, content, and community milestones ahead of what the team describes as a "stacked" 2026.

Dynamic NFTs and Trait Infrastructure

Among the project's most technically notable achievements is the deployment of what it calls the first fully dynamic NFT collection at scale, featuring a closet system that allows holders to swap traits and a free gender swap mechanic. The 3,000-supply collection, founded by ejr-nft and animated by sloppy-pencil — the former Lead Animation Director for Rick & Morty — has also introduced a monthly trait subscription service, the Playboy Collectors Pass, processed through Stripe.

Five free holder events have been held since launch, with a sixth scheduled for April 2026.

Social and Content Traction

On the content side, @WEB3Playboys reports surpassing 200 million GIPHY views, growing to 23,000 TikTok followers with multiple animations reaching between 500K and 3M+ views, and accumulating nearly 3 million views on its "Kaboom" animation within four days of release. "Cooking with Cheese" drew 1.2 million views in five days, while "Kaboom" separately reached 1 million views on Instagram.

The project has also completed collaborations with playgigaverse, aborean, Onchain Heroes, and Franky the Frog.

What's Next

A rebrand is currently in progress, and the team confirms at least two games are in active development, including Cheesy Streets. No release dates have been announced for either the rebrand or the games.
