Waifu Sweeper Issues Final Shutdown Reminder Ahead of July 31 Deadline

Waifu Sweeper, the Minesweeper-inspired skill-to-earn game on Abstract, has issued a final reminder that the platform will shut down on July 31, 2026. Users with outstanding in-game point balances must convert them to YGG rewards before the platform goes fully offline.

The reminder follows the earlier sunsetting of YGG Play, the gaming platform published by @YieldGuild, which officially retires its website, launchpad, and community questing pages on July 31. Waifu Sweeper, developed by Raitomira, launched on Abstract in January 2026 as part of YGG Play's "Casual Degen" genre.

Yield Guild Games previously published a sunset guide on July 8, detailing that all platform quests concluded on July 9 and in-game purchases for Waifu Sweeper were disabled on that date. The final deadline for all token unstaking and point redemption is July 31.

Waifu Sweeper is a logic-based puzzle game where players navigate Minesweeper-style boards to collect anime Waifus. With the shutdown approaching, the project advises users to manually redeem any remaining in-game point balances via the platform's interface.

After July 31, the YGG Play website and related services will be retired, and Waifu Sweeper will no longer be accessible. Users are urged to act before the deadline to secure their rewards.
