Tollan Universe Reports 50K Players, $1M Revenue, Teases Loot Planets - Abstract blockchain breaking news

@TollanUniverse reported on Oct. 26 that its flagship action-roguelike has drawn more than 50,000 players and generated over $1 million in revenue in the ten months since launch, and said the studio is carrying those lessons into its next title, Loot Planets.

The game, developed by Foretold Studios and live on Abstract, casts players into arena runs that combine survivors-style wave combat with roguelike build variety, with competitive modes feeding weekly prize pools. The project shipped its Loot Pass and Champions' Arena in September, followed by a hotfix to the Loot Pass Stamp economy.

According to the studio, the next chapter draws on five years of Web3 gaming experience — spanning the project's earlier incarnation as the Tollan Worlds MMORPG before it narrowed into an action-roguelike ecosystem — and covers two fronts: Loot Planets and an unannounced title currently operating under the codename Project C. Neither has a confirmed release date.

Loot Planets already has visible groundwork. On Oct. 23, the team said it is reserving 1,000 guaranteed whitelist spots for Tollan Universe Genesis Avatar holders, and it has flagged the Loot Planets Space Stations mint as its next milestone without disclosing timing or pricing.

What to watch

The Space Stations mint details and any further Project C reveal are the two open threads. The 50,000-player and $1 million figures are the studio's own, reported without third-party verification.
