Team1 Türkiye, OKX TR Wrap First AI Agent Hackathon With 11 Finalists

@team1tur, the Türkiye chapter of Team1, held its first hackathon in partnership with @OKXTurkiye, drawing more than 60 developers who built 30 AI-agent projects on Avalanche over a 16-hour sprint. Eleven finalists were selected from the field.

Participants built using OKX TR's Agent Trade Kit, a developer toolkit for constructing AI trading agents. The event marks the chapter's first entry into hackathon-style developer programming, moving beyond the meetup and community-gathering format that has defined much of its Türkiye activity.

Why the format matters

AI agents have become a crowded category across crypto, with most activity concentrated around trading automation and on-chain execution. Hackathons have become a common route for ecosystems to surface working prototypes and identify developers worth funding or incubating, though the pipeline from weekend build to live product is notoriously thin.

For Avalanche, the event adds developer pipeline in a market where the network's more visible activity has centered on tokenized real-world assets. Team1 Türkiye is one of Team1's officially recognized regional chapters, formalized after years of local community work onboarding developers and users in the country.

The 11 finalists have not yet been publicly named, and no prize allocation or follow-on funding was disclosed in the announcement. What to watch for is whether any of the finalist projects proceed to a broader build phase or receive support through OKX TR's or Team1's respective developer programs.
