Team1 Launches Official Korea Chapter to Expand Avalanche Community

Team1, the global community and builder network behind Avalanche, announced the launch of its official Korea chapter on Aug. 19, 2026. The new chapter will operate under the banner @Team1KOR and marks the latest expansion of Team1's network of regional chapters worldwide.

In its launch announcement, Team1 Korea detailed the groundwork already laid in the region: 500+ builders and 12 teams onboarded through Demo Days, 200+ developers activated across university tours, 80+ founders connected at founder connect events, and 2,000+ attendees at side events during Korea Blockchain Week.

The chapter's mission is to transform Korea into a primary builder and talent hub for Avalanche, with programming including local builder hubs, technical workshops, investor connections, and community meetups.

Team1 is coordinated by @AvaxTeam1 under the Avalanche Foundation, operating as a network of regional chapters that run local events and developer support. Korea is already a leader in onchain adoption, and Team1 Korea aims to double down on business, institutional, and payments-focused growth in the region.
