Shiny to Expand On-Chain Collectibles Marketplace to New Major Chain
Shiny (shinylabs), the on-chain collectibles marketplace and digital pack-opening platform on Abstract, is expanding to a new major blockchain. The project teased the move on June 22, 2026, with an ETA of the first week of July.
In a post quoting an earlier announcement from inhuman, Shiny confirmed it is deploying support onto an unnamed new chain. The platform, which lets users open virtual packs to win PSA-graded physical trading cards such as Pokémon and One Piece sets, currently operates on Abstract Chain.
Shiny describes itself as "by collectors, for collectors," emphasizing on-chain verifiable randomness for pack outcomes. The expansion marks a step toward broader accessibility for its hybrid digital-physical collectibles experience.
No further details on the target chain have been revealed, but the project has invited community guesses. More information is expected as the July deployment window approaches.
