Shiny Reveals Solana Launch Date of August 25

Shiny (shinylabs), the on-chain collectibles marketplace and digital pack-opening platform on Abstract, has announced that its Solana launch will take place in seven days, on August 25, 2026.

The announcement, posted on August 18, 2026, includes a detailed list of features arriving with the update: full Solana support, a Partner API for builders, CoinFlow integration, FMV pricing via Alt, a user rewards overhaul, a Card Bridge protocol, and visual changes.

This marks Shiny's expansion beyond Abstract Chain, bringing its digital pack-opening and physical collectible fulfillment platform to Solana's ecosystem. The move follows earlier hints from the project about expanding to a new major chain.

Shiny allows collectors to open virtual packs to win real, PSA-graded trading cards including Pokémon and One Piece sets, with on-chain verifiable randomness via drand (League of Entropy) commit-reveal for provably fair outcomes.
