Shiny Launches Pitch Black Set on Abstract for Digital Pack-Opening

Shiny (shinylabs) launched the Pitch Black set on July 17, offering collectors a digital pack-opening experience inspired by Pokémon Trading Card Game aesthetics on Abstract Chain.

The release follows Shiny's expansion to a new major chain in late June and the introduction of Pack Battles and a Pikachu event pack earlier in June. Pitch Black continues Shiny's model of combining on-chain verifiable randomness using drand with physical fulfillment of real PSA-graded trading cards. Collectors can open virtual packs for a chance to win physical cards that can be shipped or sold instantly.

Shiny positions itself as a bridge between traditional collectibles and blockchain transparency, targeting enthusiasts of Pokémon and One Piece TCGs.
