Ruyui Delays Ethereum Claims to Nov. 4 After Abstract Collection Freeze
@RuyuiStudios has pushed the start of Ruyui NFT claims on Ethereum back by a day. In a Nov. 3 post, the studio said claims "will start tomorrow instead of today while we figure out the verification and the volume transfer with the OpenSea team." It had set Nov. 3 as the claims date in an Oct. 27 reminder.
The delay follows the freeze of the OG Abstract Ruyui collection on Nov. 1. Hours before it, the studio said transfers and trades of the Abstract collection would no longer be possible and that 43% of supply was registered for migration. After the freeze it put the figure at 44.5%, up from 15% on Oct. 17.
What holders need to know
Registration and claims stay open through Dec. 15, according to the studio. Supply that is not claimed by then will go to the Ruyui treasury.
Ruyui said on Oct. 15 that the collection is moving to Ethereum Mainnet as Abstract winds down. The studio, which also makes the game Roots of Embervault, said on Oct. 30 that holders who registered an EVM wallet for the NFT migration have that wallet linked to their Roots of Embervault account automatically.
What to watch
Whether claims open on Nov. 4 as stated, and how much of the unregistered 55.5% signs up before Dec. 15.
