Pudgy Penguins' Solana Huddle Goes Live in Singapore

pudgypenguins amplified that the Pudgy Solana Huddle is underway in Singapore on 2026-10-06, sharing a post from community account @Symphony_Young that showed penguin mascots and Solana-branded signage at the event venue.

The gathering is the Singapore stop on Pudgy Penguins' Asia community meetup tour, which Descout previously reported would take place alongside TOKEN2049. Photographs circulated from the event show a large blue penguin mascot posed in front of a bar stocked with glassware, as well as a penguin character in a black hoodie bearing the Solana wordmark.

The event lands during a busy stretch for Pudgy Penguins. The project, originally an 8,888-piece NFT collection on Ethereum acquired by Luca Netz in April 2022 under Igloo Inc, has pushed steadily into physical retail — its toys have sold more than 1.5 million units at Walmart and Target — and launched the PENGU token on Solana for governance and ecosystem utility.

Recent weeks have also brought a LINE FRIENDS merchandise collaboration into stores in Seoul and Shanghai, and branded beverages at Kung Fu Tea locations nationwide.
