Pendle Launches PendleLoop for Base Tokenized Stocks as Pollak Amplifies
pendle_fi has launched PendleLoop, a product that lets users loop long positions on base tokenized stocks onchain, with the strategy powered by @Aave markets. Base lead jessepollak amplified the launch in a post on Oct. 28, 2026.
Users who loop to long the tokenized equities can claim incentives through @Merkl_xyz, according to Pendle's announcement. The launch did not disclose specific leverage parameters, supported tickers, or incentive amounts.
Building out tokenized equity rails
The release lands amid a broader push by Base to position itself around onchain equities. On Oct. 26, data shared across the Base ecosystem showed Aave V4 on Base surpassing 11.2 million in deposits of Coinbase-issued tokenized stocks. Three days earlier, base said Aave now offers stock-backed loans, giving eligible investors a way to borrow against tokenized equities.
Pollak has framed tokenized stocks as a core ambition for the network, citing data indicating Base leads onchain spot trading of Google stock by volume. Earlier coverage of the sector includes Morpho's stock-backed lending launch on Base in September and Revert's 25,000 USDC rewards program for Base tokenized stock liquidity providers.
PendleLoop adds a yield-oriented structure to that stack, combining Aave borrowing markets with Pendle's yield tokenization and Merkl's incentive distribution.
What to watch: whether looping activity translates into higher tokenized stock deposits on Base, and which equities Pendle and Aave expand to next.
