Jesse Pollak Amplifies Veranta's 1000x Leverage Perps on Base
jessepollak, creator and lead of Base, amplified the launch of 1000x leverage perpetual futures on BTC and ETH from verantaxyz, the perps venue that introduced pay-from-profits trading. Pollak's post on Nov. 6, 2026 pointed followers to the product's availability on the Base network.
Veranta said the 1000x tier is now live, extending the pay-from-profits model it pioneered — a structure in which traders are not charged fees upfront and instead settle costs out of realized gains. The venue lists no queues, instant profit redemption, limit orders, tight spreads and deep liquidity as features of the launch.
Why the signal matters
Pollak's account is one of the most-followed voices in the Base ecosystem, and his posts frequently direct attention to applications building on the Coinbase-incubated Ethereum Layer-2. Base has positioned itself as a hub for onchain consumer and trading applications, and the appearance of a high-leverage derivatives venue on the network fits that push.
1000x leverage remains a contentious product category across crypto markets, drawing scrutiny over liquidation risk and counterparty exposure. Veranta's pitch rests on its fee structure and settlement speed rather than on collateral or oracle design, details the announcement did not address.
Neither Veranta nor Base disclosed volume figures, asset listings beyond BTC and ETH, or a timetable for additional markets. Traders can access the 1000x product now, per the announcement.
