GUGO Launches NFT Holder Reward Ladder With 20.42M GUGO Pool - Abstract blockchain breaking news

RunWithGugo (runwithgugo) has activated the long-promised utility for its 555-piece GUGO NFT collection, launching a reward ladder funded with 20,420,000 GUGO tokens. The pool is distributed exclusively to NFT holders across four market-cap thresholds: 2,000,000 GUGO at a 500K market cap, 4,000,000 at 2M, 6,000,000 at 10M, and 8,420,000 at 50M.

The ladder runs independently of the project's existing Miles reward system, with separate targets, pool, and tracking. Rewards are calculated per runner, not per NFT — holding one or twenty NFTs places a holder in the same pool; their cut depends on Miles accumulated while holding. The clock began counting at 18:07 UTC on August 4 for all currently connected wallets.

To stay eligible, holders must maintain at least one NFT and avoid selling GUGO tokens. Dropping to zero NFTs resets the clock; selling tokens disqualifies a holder from the next drop.

According to the announcement, 270 unique wallets currently hold a GUGO NFT, but only 86 have connected a wallet to the portal — and just 65 of those hold at least one NFT. RunWithGugo urged users to verify their connected ETH wallet, noting that many connected a wallet for the mint while holding NFTs elsewhere.

The mint is closed, but the collection trades on OpenSea with a floor under 15. No additional NFTs will ever be created.

This activation deepens the utility of the GUGO ecosystem on Abstract, adding a holder-gated rewards track to the ongoing Miles journey.
