Gigaverse to Launch Gigling Racing Next Week on Abstract

Gigaverse (playgigaverse) is launching Gigling Racing next week on the Abstract blockchain, introducing a competitive racing mode to the pixel-art MMO RPG that has attracted over 75,000 players.

Races will come in two formats: free entry and staked races with prize pools and jackpots. Players only need an Abstract wallet containing a gigling NFT to participate; no separate Gigaverse account is required for new players.

Gigling Racing expands Gigaverse's existing gameplay loop, which includes roguelite dungeon runs, rock-paper-scissors combat, crafting, and fishing. The game has generated over 10 million in marketplace volume and recently distributed roughly 27,000 in jackpots to its community.

The racing mode is the latest addition to Gigaverse's interlooped game system, where different activities feed into one another within a shared on-chain world on Abstract.
