Fugz Migration to Ethereum Reaches 89% With 54 Days Left

Fugz's manual migration to Ethereum has passed the 89% mark, with 4,951 of the collection's 5,555 NFTs moved as of October 21, 2026, according to an update from yotdog69. That leaves 604 Fugz still to be migrated before the project's migration website closes on December 14, 2026 — 54 days out from the update.
The project reports close to 1,200 unique holders participating in the move, and states that holders incur no migration costs, with transfer gas covered by Fugz itself.
A manual migration at scale
Unlike contract-level migrations that can be executed in bulk, Fugz's move has required holders to transfer each token individually, coordinated by the team. The project is positioning the effort as one of the largest manual migrations in Web3 by share of supply moved by hand.
Fugz is a 5,555-piece collection of "Fuzzy Gopher" characters that originated on Abstract and began relocating to Ethereum in April 2026. The project, which operates as fugzofficial, has built a following around animated GIF output on Giphy and treats its characters as the base of a broader animated IP.
Holders who have not yet migrated have until the December 14 website closure to complete the transfer on Ethereum. The project has not stated what happens to unmigrated tokens after that date.
