Cambria Teases Necromancy Coming to Dungeons Mode

Drafted by the Descout wire deskHow this was made

Cambria (playcambria) is bringing Necromancy to its Dungeons mode, the project announced on Aug. 12 with a teaser image accompanying the announcement. No release date or gameplay details have been revealed yet.

The teaser arrives as Cambria's Dungeons mode continues to gain traction, reaching an all-time high of 625K in daily risked volume on Aug. 5, driven largely by growth in Dungeons Fishing. The high-stakes MMO, which blends RuneScape-inspired progression with player-owned economies, has accumulated over 160M in lifetime risked volume since expanding to Abstract.

Necromancy is the latest feature teased for Dungeons, following recent additions such as Uncut Gems and Sacks of Treasure, as well as the "The Depths Rise" difficulty layer introduced in July. Cambria originally launched on Ronin before expanding to Abstract, where it has become one of onchain gaming's largest player economies.

With no timeline provided, players are left to speculate how Necromancy will integrate into the extraction-based PvE mode. Cambria has not indicated whether the feature will introduce new combat mechanics, enemies, or progression systems. More details are expected to surface in the coming weeks as the project typically rolls out updates via patch notes and in-game events.
