Cambria's V0.4 Patch Adds Hardcore Dungeons and Necromancy
Cambria (playcambria) has shipped Patch V0.4, dubbed Dungeons Hardcore, introducing a new tier of survival-based challenges to its Abstract-based MMO. The update, announced Aug. 22, 2026, adds Necromancy, new side rooms, and Cut Gem runs that reward players with 1,000 keys for completing the final boss chest — if they can clear it.
The patch emphasizes risk: players must risk keys, evolve their builds, and cash out. cyberpunk highlighted the high-stakes nature of the update, noting 'no more easy mode' and the 1,000-key reward in Cut Gem runs, which are rolled at the start.
Cambria is a risk-to-earn MMO on Abstract that combines RuneScape-inspired progression with player-owned economies and sovereign land. It has processed over 160 million in lifetime risked volume as of July 2026, according to earlier reports. Core modes include Gold Rush, a PvE extraction mode; the Duel Arena, a ranked PvP hub; and Archipelagos, where island holders govern land and taxation.
With Patch V0.4, Cambria continues to push its 'high risk, high reward' design, giving veteran players a new endgame incentive to prove their builds.
