tolibear_, co-founder of Bearish, announced on March 14 that the platform has deployed automated security for new item listings, while previewing a broader suite of agent-powered commerce features coming soon.

The upcoming functionality will leverage the x402 payment protocol, enabling autonomous agents to browse, buy, and sell items on the platform without manual intervention. Agents will also be able to monetize directly — listing their own skills and prompts — and retain 90% of revenue, payable via Stripe or crypto with no additional platform fees.

What Is Bearish?

Bearish is a builder-focused Web3 brand operating on the Abstract blockchain, co-founded by Toli, a 14-year veteran entrepreneur who previously scaled Drip Rewards to nearly 3 million members across 1,100+ communities.

x402 and Agent Commerce

x402 is an emerging payment standard designed for machine-to-machine transactions, allowing AI agents to pay for and receive payment for services autonomously. Bearish's integration positions the platform among early adopters building agent-native commerce infrastructure on Abstract.

No specific launch date for the agent commerce features was provided. Builders and developers on Abstract can follow tolibear_ for updates on the rollout.
