Avalanche Brings Network to 2M+ Zengo Users via eToro Wallet Deal
Avalanche is now accessible to more than 2 million registered users worldwide through @ZenGo, the self-custodial wallet owned by etoro, according to an announcement amplified by Avalanche's global community network @AvaxTeam1 on Nov. 4, 2026.
The @AvaxTeam1 account marked the integration with a short welcome message to Zengo, signalling the network's addition to the wallet's self-custodial ecosystem. The move places Avalanche alongside the assets Zengo already supports, giving its user base direct access to the chain without handing over custody of funds.
Why the distribution matters
Zengo's user figures put the integration among the larger wallet-level distribution channels Avalanche has secured. Because Zengo is self-custodial, users retain control of private keys while interacting with Avalanche assets — a detail that distinguishes the arrangement from exchange-listing announcements, where balances sit on a centralized platform.
Avalanche's community arm has spent the past two months broadening its reach: Team1 Vietnam opened UniHack 2026 with nearly 600 signups on Nov. 2, while Team1 Türkiye and OKX TR wrapped an AI-agent hackathon with 11 finalists in late October.
What to watch
Neither Avalanche nor Zengo has published a breakdown of which specific assets, bridges or staking features will be exposed to the 2 million-plus registered accounts, or a timeline for deeper wallet functionality. Those details will determine whether the announcement translates into sustained onchain activity or remains a distribution headline.
