Anichess Opens Road to Magnus Event to All Players
Anichess (@AnichessGame) has announced that its "Road to Magnus" event is now open to all players. The event, which was previously limited, allows participants to compete for a chance to face world champion Magnus Carlsen in a simul on June 16.
Anichess is a Web3 chess game built on Abstract, incubated by Animoca Brands and developed in partnership with Chess.com. It features spell-based gameplay and is part of the Checkmate Ecosystem, powered by the upcoming CHECK token.
The "Road to Magnus" campaign is likely tied to the CHECK token launch and the broader ecosystem's growth. Players can join the event directly through the Anichess platform.
