Trencher TCG Sells Out on DYLI, Secondary Trading Opens
DYLI's Trencher TCG presale sold out its public phase in seven minutes on August 12, and secondary trading opened the same day.

DYLI, the Abstract-based collectibles marketplace, sold out the public phase of its Trencher TCG presale in seven minutes on August 12, DYLI said — with secondary trading on the packs opening the same day.
The presale went live at 16:03 UTC, DYLI wrote, describing Trencher TCG as a trading card game "powered by DYLI." About an hour later, at 17:07 UTC, DYLI announced the public phase had sold out, quoting a note posted minutes earlier that only 140 packs remained.
DYLI had laid out the presale's terms nine days earlier, on August 3, when it quote-tweeted a Trencher TCG FAQ posted by the account grizzle_art. Set 1 comprised 500 total packs — five cards apiece, 2,500 cards across 35 unique designs — priced at $15 per pack with a five-pack limit per wallet. Rarity broke out as Common (40%), Uncommon (24%), Rare (18%), Epic (10%), Legendary (6%), and Mythic (2%). Entry required holding at least one Trencher avatar NFT, with none of a wallet's Trencher NFTs listed for sale, on a first-come, first-served basis; DYLI said it would announce the mint phases a few days before the presale opened.
The packs are physical trading cards backed by a tradable token, per the FAQ: buyers can list an unopened pack immediately on DYLI's secondary marketplace, or open it through a live rip that digitizes each pulled card into a DYLI collection, where it can be held, traded, sold, or redeemed for physical shipment. Cards ship raw and ungraded, with collectors able to submit them to PSA, CGC, or SGC for grading afterward.
The pace outruns DYLI's own recent run of drops — the platform's Digital Packs beta, led by Vibes TCG, took closer to 12 hours to clear its supply in June.
What DYLI hasn't said
DYLI hasn't named who designs, owns, or manufactures Trencher TCG. The FAQ it quote-tweeted on August 3 was posted by grizzle_art, but no source states that account's relationship to the card game beyond authoring the FAQ. DYLI also hasn't broken out how the 500-pack supply split between the whitelist-gated entry and the public phase that sold out in seven minutes, or how long a whitelist window ran before that public phase opened.
