Yet, behind this success story lies a sobering lesson in leadership, communication, and the volatility of early crypto ecosystems.
The Rise of $NOOT
$NOOT was founded by Archer (@archercrypto11), a well-known early builder in Abstract’s inner circles. His charismatic leadership and distinctive branding turned the token into one of the most recognizable assets on the chain. The playful penguin aesthetic, combined with Abstract’s close ties to the Pudgy Penguins IP, made $NOOT a natural cultural fit.
$NOOT’s visibility skyrocketed after Daniel McEvoy, a respected figure in an exclusive alpha community with an entry barrier of $5,000 to $10,000, mentioned the token as a potential play. The endorsement generated immense attention across the ecosystem, bringing new liquidity and community members to Abstract.
Within weeks, $NOOT’s market capitalization surged to over $24 million, making it one of the largest and most influential tokens on the chain. Even Luca Netz, CEO of Pudgy Penguins and owner of Abstract, personally purchased $NOOT tokens at one point in time, a move that symbolized confidence from the very top of the ecosystem.
