A full reboot after eight seasons
@MoodyMights said on June 10 that the original Moody Madness was being retired after eight completed seasons and what the team called "millions of races," with Moody Madness 2.0 to ship on Abstract. Two days later the team set the date and theme: a World Cup Season going live June 15, which it billed as the game's "biggest update yet."

Moody Madness is a kart-racing game on Abstract. Coverage of the game describes it as gasless — Abstract's account-abstraction layer covers transaction fees, so a player races without signing or paying for each on-chain action. The karts are assembled from NFT components: the same coverage lists bodies, tires, and spoilers that affect a kart's performance characteristics.
The AI Assistant is the launch hook
The headline perk of the 2.0 launch is a free Legendary AI Assistant bundled into the World Cup Battle Pass, @MoodyMights said.
