How to Fund, Trade, and Cash Out on DYLI's Collectibles Marketplace - Tutorial and guide

DYLI lets collectors buy, trade, vault, or ship physical collectibles — trading cards, sealed packs, graded slabs, and toys — while holding a tradable token version of each item. The platform describes itself as built for users to "collect digitally, own physically," buying, grading, and managing collectibles from a browser and choosing, per item, whether to keep it vaulted, trade it on DYLI's own marketplace, or have it shipped home. Every product runs on Abstract as a redeemable token tied to the physical item in DYLI's vault. Co-founder Jonah Kitay told OpenSea the team spent years building blockchain infrastructure for other projects before deciding "we wanted to build something for ourselves instead of for other people." Over the past month DYLI has assembled a near-complete rail around that model — a new way to fund an account, a reworked buyback program, and expanded resale. Here's how each piece works.

Funding an account: bridging in from another chain

Getting money into a DYLI account used to mean manually bridging assets or connecting an outside wallet before a purchase. DYLI said on July 22, 2026 that it has integrated direct bridging powered by RelayProtocol that removes both steps: a collector can deposit crypto from another chain straight into their DYLI account "with just a few taps and no wallet connection required." Imagery accompanying the announcement lists Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Binance, and Bitcoin as deposit-source chains, alongside Abstract itself — DYLI's own chain — meaning a user can fund a DYLI account from any of those networks without first bridging manually or holding a wallet already connected to Abstract. "Getting funds into your DYLI account should be fast, simple, and nearly free," DYLI wrote. RelayProtocol, which describes itself as a network built to "bridge & transact across chains," handles the routing behind the scenes. DYLI did not disclose which tokens the integration supports, a minimum deposit size, or a fee schedule beyond "nearly free" — those specifics remain unpublished.

Trading and acquiring items

Once an account is funded, collectors buy into DYLI's marketplace in a few formats. The platform's Digital Packs beta — opened with Vibes TCG Set 3 — lets buyers open packs on-platform and then keep, trade, or ship the cards; DYLI has said the format sold out within 12 hours of launch. DYLI also sells themed boxes directly, and in mid-July expanded its eBay integration so sellers can list booster packs, boxes, bundles, and ungraded cards — not just graded cards, as the beta first allowed — straight from their DYLI inventory onto eBay's own buyer base, with the item staying vaulted or shipping globally once it sells.

Cashing out: buybacks, resale, and the vault

DYLI's clearest liquidity lever is its buyback program. As of July 3, 2026, DYLI offers up to 90% of the purchase price back on most boxes. Collectors get a 48-hour window after claiming a box to match a buyback offer at that rate; once the window lapses, DYLI switches to a permanent offer based on fair market value instead. DYLI also restocks boxes over weekends with chase items, per the same announcement. Alongside buybacks, the eBay integration above gives sellers a second exit path — list on eBay instead of taking a buyback or holding for the fair-market-value offer. Underpinning both paths is DYLI's vault: the company said it shipped hundreds of boxes and brought on new warehouse staff during a record week in late June, calling it the busiest stretch yet for items moving in and out of physical custody.

What's not published yet

Several mechanical details remain open. DYLI has not said which tokens the RelayProtocol integration accepts, what the bridging costs beyond "nearly free," or whether there's a minimum deposit. It also hasn't said whether a buyback offer applies the same way to a box funded through a bridged deposit as to one funded any other way — the buyback terms and the bridging integration were announced three weeks apart, with no stated link between them. And DYLI has not disclosed what it takes on a sale made through the eBay integration, or who holds custody of an item once it is listed but not yet sold.
