ejrweb3, founder of Web3 Playboys on Abstract, reports sweeping a significant portion of @XOOBNetwork NFTs after the project's minting site went down with only 542 of 1,000 total supply minted — leaving 458 pieces unclaimed.

The incident unfolded on March 2, 2026. ejrweb3 had previously flagged issues attempting to mint through the @XOOBNetwork site, citing time wasted and an inability to complete transactions despite holding a qualifying score near 800. When the site failed mid-mint, he moved to acquire available supply directly, describing the situation as an obvious opportunity given the incomplete mint and low secondary prices.

The project had been circulating on Abstract with participants chasing what ejrweb3 characterized as roughly $25 in expected returns per NFT — modest flip targets that nonetheless attracted activity ahead of the technical failure.

ejrweb3 is known in the Abstract ecosystem as the founder of Web3 Playboys, a 3,000-piece dynamic NFT collection that launched in August 2025 and has shipped over 10 features since launch, including dynamic trait technology and gender-swappable metadata.

@XOOBNetwork has not publicly addressed the site outage as of publication. It remains unclear whether the mint will resume or how the unminted supply will be handled.
