Team1 Vietnam's UniHack 2026 Opens With Nearly 600 Signups
Team1 Vietnam's UniHack 2026 kicked off on November 2 with close to 600 registrations already recorded and the count still climbing, according to a post from the chapter's @Team1VN account that @AvaxTeam1 quoted the same day.
The program is a 30-day build sprint on Avalanche. More than 20 universities across the country are supporting the initiative as media partners, and @MEXCVietnam is backing it as sponsor.
Builder pipeline in Vietnam
Team1 Vietnam is the Vietnam chapter of Team1, the Avalanche-focused community organization, and runs university tours, job fairs and meetups for local builders. An earlier educational push came on September 9, when the chapter opened a workshop at UED with more than 100 students working through Avalanche fundamentals, from creating L1s to deploying smart contracts.
UniHack extends that pipeline from instruction into a month-long build phase, with hundreds of builders and project ideas cited in the chapter's announcement. The registration figure reflects sign-ups rather than submitted projects; no submission totals or judging details have been published.
What to watch
The 30-day window runs from November 2 into early December. Watch for the chapter to disclose how many teams progress from registration to working prototypes.
